    Seit Master Kush Grand zum ersten Mal auf den Menüs der Amsterdamer Coffeeshops erschienen ist, hat diese Sorte reißenden Absatz gefunden. Die beliebte Kreuzung aus Hindu Kush und Skunk wurde zuerst High Rise genannt, später aber in Master Kush Grand umbenannt. Während der Reifung erzeugt sie einen feinen erdigen Zitrusduft, die meiste restliche Wachstumszeit hindurch ist aber eher kein Aroma nachweisbar. Traditionell werden die Kush Stämme (Afghan Kush, Hindu Kush) oft kultiviert, um handgepresste Charas herzustellen, denn ihre Harzproduktion ist erblich bedingt sehr hoch. Die Sorte besitzt einen hohen medizinischen Wert.
